Take a healthy helping of eclectic American cuisine, throw in a dash of nostalgia and you have the perfect recipe for Route 22 American Restaurant and Bar, a new restaurant designed to give patrons a sense of what Greenwich & Stamford were like in a different era. Located in Commerce Park and situated in the new Shop Rite shopping center, the 6,000 square foot restaurant's automotive décor and ambiance are reminiscent of the 1930's. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner 7 days a week.
Lunch and dinner menus run the gamut from salads and burgers to grilled vegetables and award-winning BBQ. A signature dish is Danish baby back pork ribs served with Route 22's special barbeque sauce, baked beans & coleslaw. The overall feel of the restaurant is one of fun because the owners want families, business people, and large groups all to feel right at home in their Hollywood-style booths & spacious dining room.
Route 22’s has been honored by Fairfield County for 2006 “Best New Bar in CT”. There are drink specials daily & the best live rock-n-roll every Saturday night. Happy Hour is M-F from 4pm-7pm with ½ price select drinks & appetizers at the beautifully appointed wooden bar.
